How to stop smoking – part 2

To write an article on how to stop smoking would be impossible. Each session that we do for smoking cessation is as individual as the person. What works for one person may not work for another. What we can do, however, is describe what works for the majority of our clients in a generic way. There is a high possibility that using these methods that you will be able to stop – it will just you longer to go through the material than it will for us to guide you though the one or two sessions that we offer for smoking cessation.

How to stop smoking

Most of the clients that we see come to us to help them stop smoking. Consequently we have learnt what works to help smokers stop – we don’t like the phrase “giving up smoking” as this implies that they will miss it, when in reality, there is nothing to miss. Stopping smoking is all about gaining.

Many of the so called stop smoking experts rave on about the improved health and monetary gain, but these reasons are often not powerful enough to stop a smoker. This is because, even though a smoker may pay around £50,000 in their life time, they pay in installments, and may not notice a big difference in the amount they have saved straight away. Your health is the same, how quickly would you notice the improvement after you stopped smoking? – you don’t even know when you are going to die anyway right? So what are some good reasons for stopping?

The truth about hypnotherapy

What is hypnosis?

Giving hypnosis a meaning description that encompasses all of the broad concepts and techniques is an extremely difficult task. Also, people that have experienced hypnosis all seem to experience it in a slightly different way from feeling as though they were daydreaming, just relaxed right through to feeling disassociated.

Hypnotic trance, for the purpose of this article, is described as a focused state of attention during which wider environmental stimuli are ignored so that suggestions and ideas can be given for positive change.
